What Are the Criteria to be Eligible for PMP and CCBA??

Many practitioners are becoming increasingly involved in taking the PMP and CCBA tests. However, there are certain requirements to meet in order to do so. There are educational and professional qualifications that must be met in order to be qualified. It is important to have project management experience within the last eight years prior to submitting an application. Throughout one's programs, one must have experience in each of the five process classes. It should be noted, however, that this in no way means that previous experience as a Project Manager is needed. Professionals who have previously held some kind of functional position in project leadership and direction are also qualifying. People working in marketing, programming, event management, and other fields are all required to sit for and pass the PMP Certification Training in Atlanta GA test.

PMP and CCBA

PMI-required eligibility for the PMP Certification Training in Atlanta GA.

1. A bachelor's degree with a minimum of four years of study

2. Project management experience of 36 months

3. CAPM® Certification or 35 hours of project management education or training

– OR –

1. A high school diploma or an associate's degree is required for entry (or global equivalent)

2. Project management for 60 months.

3. CAPM® Certification or 35 hours of project management education or training

In the event that you have any questions regarding your eligibility, you must consult with a PMI Approved Education Provider.

The PMP Exam follows the following pattern:

A total of 200 multiple-choice questions makes up the PMP test. The exam must be completed in less than 4 hours. As a result, time management is extremely important. There are 25 questions out of 200 that have a very small chance of deciding whether or not you can pass the exam.

Prerequisites for CCBA Certification

If you are interested in the CCBA Certification, it is recommended that you take a look at the IIBA Core BA Certification Handbook and visit the IIBA.org website for more detail.

CCBA Certification is a process that involves a number of steps.

1. First and foremost, you must register with the International Institute of Business Analysis to become a member (IIBA). A membership in the association costs $125. It is, however, purely optional. IIBA.org is the place to go if you want to learn more about the benefits of membership.

2. To complete the mandatory 21 Professional Development Hours, enroll in the CCBA Certification Preparation Course (PD Hours).

3.It is recommended that the hours be logged before or after the application fee is paid. There is a $125 application fee that must be paid.

4. At this stage, you must complete and submit your application.

5. After submitting your application, you will receive an email stating whether it has been accepted or approved pending audit.

6. Once your application has been approved, you will be provided with guidance about how to pay for and arrange the test.

7. After that, you must schedule your exam with PSI Exams.

Non-members pay $450 for the test, which is $325 for IIBA members.

If your application has been accepted, you must take the exam within one year of the approval date.

Within a calendar year, one can attempt three times. PSI Exams is the place to go if you want to learn more about the testing centers.

Following that, you must take and pass the CCBA Exam. After your application has been accepted, you must take the exam within one year.


The following is a breakdown of the CCBA exam:

A total of 130 multiple-choice questions are included in the CCBA Exam. You have three hours to complete the test. After passing the test, you will be eligible for a three-year period. In order to renew your qualification, you must record 60 Continuing Development Units (CDUs) every three years.

Eligibility Requirements for the CCBA

1. Previous business analysis experience is needed.

2. Work experience in business analysis of at least 3,750 hours is needed (Must be within in last 7 years)

3. Completion of 900 hours in at least two of the six core BABOK® Guide Knowledge Areas is needed.

Alternatively,

1. Completed at least 500 hours in at least four of the six core BABOK® Guide knowledge areas

2. Market Research Coursework

3. Over the past four years, 21 Professional Development Hours (PD Hours) must have been completed.
